| Item Description | This Foil-Stamped Tenugui features the world-renowned masterpiece "Wind God and Thunder God Folding Screen" by Tawaraya Sōtatsu. The dynamic composition depicts Fūjin, the Wind God, gracefully gliding through the sky with his wind bag unfurled, and Raijin, the Thunder God, stamping his feet with power while carrying drums that roar with thunder. The bold yet elegant design is further enhanced with shimmering gold foil, creating a finish that is both majestic and refined. Crafted with aluminum-based golden foil, the design is dyed directly into the fabric. The foil will not peel off even after washing, allowing it to be used as a practical tenugui. With use and washing, the fabric naturally tightens, and any fraying will stop after a few millimeters. |
