The dragon (“Tatsu”) has long been regarded in China as a symbol of power and a highly auspicious creature. It is said that a dragon soaring high into the sky brings good fortune and ensures a life free from financial hardship, representing both _rising luck_ and _strong fortune-bringing power_. Each piece is individually packaged in a transparent bag, making it ideal for gifts or as a token of appreciation. The pattern is vividly visible on both the front and back. Caution - As each item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. - Due to the nature of the dyes, variations in color and slight bleeding may occur. Please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of hand-dyeing. - Colors may transfer when exposed to water, sweat, etc. We recommend washing separately. - When using an iron, set it to a low temperature and always use a pressing cloth. - Traditionally, both ends of a tenugui are left unfinished to allow them to dry quickly and maintain better hygiene. - With repeated washing, the fabric will tighten and fraying will naturally stop after a few millimeters. |
